How Social Media influence job market? In fact, companies are increasingly using them to try and evaluate candidates. The investigation reveals the Recruiting & Social Network, created by Lorenzo Pulici, Italian HR & Communication Specialist, in partnership with the magazine Walk on Job, and presented at the University La Sapienza in Rome during the conference LinkedIn, which connects the social aspect of work.
The
survey, conducted between December 2011 and January 2012 involving
about 200 recruiters, human resource managers and area managers of
national companies, shows that three out of four companies are turning
to social media like LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter to search and select
new talents, and that as many as 37.5% have developed a real policy for
recruitment through social networks.
The more social networks used to select prospective employees is, predictably, LinkedIn (96.1%), born to be a professional network, but they are the most important social and personal media such as Facebook (consulted by 37.7%), Twitter (18.2%), Youtube (6.5%) and even blogs (5.2%).

While performing research focused on LinkedIn, especially for keywords, other media are consulted to compare and verify the information and assess the whole person. Compromising pictures and post unintelligent or not politically correct, therefore, can damage the professional reputation of a candidate, even if they are still sidelined with respect to the actual curriculum on LinkedIn.
The debate took place during the conference (as reported by the magazine Walk on Job),
also showed that to be found on LinkedIn is important to accurately
describe their professional profile, demonstrate the skills clearly,
highlight key words clear and easily identifiable while remaining
faithful to reality. This will help recruiters find the profile and to
gather the necessary information. If a profile is missing information
that is easier to walk to another breeder profile rather than the user
contacts for further information.
The professionals most sought after by companies on social ones are primarily commercial (46.6%) and economic (43.2%), followed by engineering (40.9%), computer (20.5%), humanities profiles (10 , 2%) and legal (9.1%).
