How to Avoid Wikipedia Blackout Screen by Disabling JAVA Script?

Wikipedia, the largest online encyclopedia has started its 24 hours blackout to protest against US bills SOPA and PIPA. Millions of Internet users who tried to access Wikipedia were landed on Blackout page. But the blackout page is being loaded using JAVA Script, if you are very much in need of Wikipedia now, you can by-pass this blackout by disabling JAVA Script in your browser. Try out the below method for the browser you are using:
Mozilla Firefox
- Go to Tools and Click on Options
- Now click on 'Content' Tab
- Uncheck the 'Enable Java Script' option as seen in the below picture.

Now Click OK, and Enjoy browsing Wikipedia.
Google Chrome
- Click on the Settings button on the top right of the Chrome browser (Looks like a Spanner)
- Click on 'Options' at the drop down Menu.
- Click on 'Under the Hood' at the left pane
- Now click on 'Content Settings' button on the top of the page.
- Scroll down and Select 'Do not Allow Any Sites to Run Java Script' as seen in the below picture.
Now Enjoy browsing Wikipedia in Google Chrome.
Note: If you don't have any urgency of accessing Wikipedia, wait till tomorrow and support the protest against SOPA!
