Using Action Center in Windows Vista for the security of your computer

Microsoft Action Center in Windows 7 helps to prevent unwanted threats to your Operating System, such as malware, spyware, Antivirus instability etc. Action Center can be launched through Control Panel > Control Panel Items > Action Center.
Action Center also shows a pop up flag in your task bar (as you see in picture) that will alert you about sever security threats with different color codes based on the severity of the threat, among them, red alert has to be taken care in high priority. 

As you see in the below picture, the computer is affected with a malware, that would compromise your system's security and stability. This can be addressed by removing the malware using the windows you see in the below picture.

Point to the item, select the action, as Remove, and then click the 'Apply Action' button. This will help to remove the unwanted malicious software.
