Google announces Android 3.0, codenamed Honeycomb, designed for Tablets

Giving another excitment for Android lovers, Google announced new version of their flagship mobile platform Operating System today, its Android 3.0 codenamed Honeycomb. Google's official announcement came in its mobile blog today, the new version of Android has lot of new features especially designed for Tablets. Tablet PCs will be the future sensation, and Google is getting ready for that with new Android 3.0. as per Googles mobile blog, refined multi-tasking, elegant notifications, access to over 100,000 apps on Android Market, home screen customization with a new 3D experience and redesigned widgets that are richer and more interactive.
New version of Android will also feature latest Google Map 5.0 version with 3D interactions and offline reliability. Google previewed Android 3.0 in Consumer Electronic Show (CES) in Las Vegas, and also posted a feature video, see below:
Google has not yet revealed the release date, but according to the official Google announcement, access to over 3 million Google eBooks, and Google Talk, which now allows you to video and voice chat with any other Google Talk enabled device, will be some other exciting feature of the new version of Android.
