Facebook changing its Face. How to get the new appearance to your profile?

Facebook is again changing its appearance. Since the beginning in the 2004, Facebook changed its face many times. It’s common that social networking websites will change their appearance as part of ‘rebranding’, but some of these changes might create negative impact among its users. Henceforth we have to wait and see how the users will accept the change, once it is rolled out. Recently, changes in the Facebook’s privacy policies are widely being criticized, and it caused many people, concerned about the privacy of Facebook, stopped using it.

How the new appearance of Facebook looks like?

 
According to the Facebook blog, The profile begins with a quick overview of basic information such as where you're from, where you went to school, and where you work—the kinds of conversation starters you share with people you've just met or exchange with old friends as you get reacquainted.

And since there's often no better way to learn about a person than through photos, the profile now includes a row of recently tagged photos of you. 

You can now highlight the friends who are important to you, such as your family, best friends or teammates. Create new groups of friends, or feature existing friend’s lists.

The profile also gives you new ways to share your interests and activities. You can list the projects you worked on at your job, classes you took in school, your favourite musicians and sports teams, and more. You can also share your life philosophy by connecting to the religions, political affiliations, and people you follow and admire. All your interests and experiences are now represented with images, making your entire profile a more compelling visual experience.

When your profile will be changes?

Facebook is gradually rolling out this profile changes, some of your very lucky friends may get this new appearance very soon. According to Facebook blog post by Josh Wiseman, a Facebook engineer, the new changes will be completely rolled out by the beginning of New Year 2011.
